Megan McBurnie is a certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at DeSales University in 2008. She embarked on her nursing career later that year as a medical-surgical nurse at Monmouth Medical Center. During her 12-year career at MMC, Megan gained diverse array of experiences caring for patients with complex medical conditions, post-operative patients recovering from surgery, and patients requiring inpatient hospice care. Megan returned to school through Walden University in 2016 and in 2019 completed her studies, earning her Masters of Science in Nursing. She became a member of the Family First Primary team in 2019. Megan is passionate about providing individualized, holistic care to patients and their families. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling her nieces and nephews and hiking with her dog, Winston.
